The L-BOXX conquers new markets step by step. This way it was possible to establish, in addition to the successful acquisition of new customers in Europe, a nationwide dealer network in Belgium. More than 170 international L-BOXX system partners now trust the packaging expertise of BS Systems. Meanwhile there are now around 30 employees, who are working hard on the continuous development of intelligent mobility concepts. Focus specialized trade
The specialist retailer network is expanded in order to make the case system associated with the L-BOXX even more successful on the market. Alongside the established core business of supplying to OEM manufacturers that use the L-BOXX as packaging for their own top sellers, the company’s strategy also includes increased support to retail.
Market launch of the L-BOXX Mini
The system acquires a new highlight, in the form of the L-BOXX Mini. The L-BOXX Mini is a low-cost packaging alternative for assorted small items weighing up to 1.5 kg. Structured in the inset box grid format and manufactured using food-safe plastic, it integrates seamlessly into the system.
Market launch of the LT-Boxx
Alongside many developments and innovations in terms of accessories, the L-BOXX system gains an important building block. The BOXX programme is supplemented with an LT-BOXX series that features full upward and downward compatibility. An upward opening toolbox for bulky goods.
Business start
After two years of partnership and market sales of more than two million BOXXes, Bosch and Sortimo resolve to expand their shared success story to create a new and separate area of business: BS Systems GmbH & Co. KG is then founded as a joint venture. The overarching objective is to establish the L-BOXX as the industrial standard for system packaging.
Initial spark
Bosch Power Tools, the world´s leading supplier of electrical tools, becomes aware of the L-BOXX and is impressed by the concept. The L-BOXX is included in the BOSCH PROFESSIONAL product portfolio as repackaging for professional tools.
Logistixx
The L-BOXX, originally designed as “logistics”-BOXX, celebrates a successful market launch in 2009. Sortimo records high demand right from the first year of sales.
Prototype and patenting
Sortimo, the market leader in the van racking systems, load securing and mobile transport solutions industry, registers the L-BOXX as patent pending in 2008.
